Master Mechanic Spring Tire Changeover Promotion – Official Rules and Regulations (Alberta – West Edmonton)
This Contest will be interpreted in accordance with applicable Federal and Provincial law. Master Mechanic (hereafter referred to as the “Sponsor”) is the Sponsor of the Contest.
THE CONTEST: The Master Mechanic Spring Tire Changeover promotion begins on Monday, March 23, 2026, at 9:00:00 AM MST and concludes on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 11:59:59 PM MST (the “Contest Closing Date”) at Master Mechanic West Edmonton, Alberta only.
HOW TO ENTER: You can enter the Contest in one of 2 ways:
Method 1 – Purchase Entry:
- Purchase a set of tires or complete a seasonal tire changeover at Master Mechanic West Edmonton during the promotional period.
- Visit mastermechanic.ca to complete the registration requirements.
- Fill out the entry form in its entirety, including your first name, last name, complete address, daytime phone number (with area code), date of birth, email address, and invoice number to be automatically entered into the Contest.
Method 2 – No Purchase Necessary (Mail-In Entry):
- Hand-print your first name, last name, complete address, daytime phone number (with area code), date of birth, and email address on a plain piece of paper and mail it to:

Mail-in entries must be postmarked no later than May 31, 2026, and received no later than May 31, 2026.
ENTRY LIMIT: One (1) entry per person per tire invoice. Multiple entries from the same invoice will not count as additional entries. Mail-in entries are limited to one (1) per outer envelope.
ELIGIBILITY: The Contest is open to all individuals who:
- Reside in Alberta, Canada.
- Are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry.
Employees of the Sponsor, its affiliated companies, its advertising and promotion agencies, and members of their immediate families (parent, sibling, child, spouse, or common-law partner) or persons residing in the same household are not eligible to participate.
PRIZING DETAILS: The Contest includes one (1) cash prize of $1,500 and one (1) cash prize of $500, each awarded as a cheque. Prizes are non-transferable and no substitutions are permitted. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable. Total prize pool value: $2,000.00 CAD.
CONTEST DRAW: All winners will be selected by a random draw conducted by Master Mechanic at approximately 12:00 PM EST on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, from amongst all eligible entries received by the Contest Closing Date. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
The potential prize winner will be notified by mail, email, or telephone and will be required to sign and return a declaration of eligibility and a liability/publicity release within ten (10) business days of notification. Failure to respond within this period will result in forfeiture of the prize and an alternate winner will be selected by random draw.
DISPUTES: Entrant agrees that: (i) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected to this Contest or any prizes awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta; (ii) any and all claims, judgements, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Contest, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (iii) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these official rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta.
MASTER MECHANIC ENTITIES: Master Mechanic, its franchise locations and each of their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, representatives, and employees (collectively “Master Mechanic Entities”) will have no liability or responsibility for any claims arising in connection with participation in this Contest or any prize awarded.
GENERAL: This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations. By entering the Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and by the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final with respect to all matters relating to this Contest. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and none will be returned.
The Sponsor has the right to publicize any or all submissions to the Contest along with the first name, first initial of last name, and city of residence of the entrant in any media publication of the Sponsor’s choosing. By entering the Contest, all entrants consent to the collection, use, and distribution of their personal information by the Sponsor for the purposes of running the Contest, and consent to be contacted by email for future electronic communications from the Sponsor. Information is stored in accordance with Master Mechanic’s Privacy Policy. The Sponsor will not sell or transmit this information to third parties except for the purposes of administering the Contest.
The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend, or modify this Contest or its rules at any time without notice. All entries made by robotic or other automated means will be disqualified.
